Privacy Policy

Last updated — June 23, 2026

Your trust matters to us. This policy describes the personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We've kept it as plain as we can.

01Scope of this policy

This policy explains what personal information RayStarter (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit our site, create an account, buy a product, or use our AI features, and how we use and protect it. It applies to the RayStarter service and does not cover third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.

By using RayStarter, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

02Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password credentials when you sign up, plus any profile details you choose to add.
  • Billing information — your plan, order history, and credit balance. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Content you create — the prompts you submit and the results generated by our AI features, along with anything you upload or save.
  • Usage and device data — pages viewed, features used, approximate location, browser and device type, and log data such as IP address and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — small identifiers used to keep you signed in and to understand how the service is used. See the cookies section below.

03How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • provide, maintain, and secure your account and the features you use;
  • process payments, deliver purchases, and track credit usage;
  • generate, store, and return the AI results you request;
  • send transactional email such as receipts, security alerts, and account notices;
  • diagnose problems, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve the service; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your prompts or generations to train models for unrelated purposes.

04Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, such as your light or dark theme. These are required for the service to work.

We may also use a small amount of analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the product. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though signing in will not work without the necessary ones.

05AI features and your content

When you use an AI feature, your prompt and any inputs are sent to our AI model providers solely to generate your result and return it to you. Generated output is stored in your account so you can revisit it.

You are responsible for the prompts you submit and how you use the results. Do not enter personal information about others, confidential data, or anything you do not have the right to share. AI output can be inaccurate — review it before relying on it.

06How we share information

We share personal information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers — vetted companies that process data on our behalf to run the service, including payment processing, email delivery, AI model hosting, cloud infrastructure, and storage. They may use it only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of RayStarter, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in control of your data.

07Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it.

08How we protect your information

We use technical and organizational safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege handling of secrets — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach affecting it where the law requires.

09Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update most account details directly in your dashboard.

To make a request, contact us at contact@raystarter.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection law.

11Children's privacy

RayStarter is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves or the law changes. When we make material changes, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of RayStarter after an update means you accept the revised policy.
